aims to provide a safe, stimulating and enriching environment for the children who come through its doors. The children are given independence in a carefully prepared environment which allows them to master skills that will help them in their daily lives. The aim is to allow the children to explore their environment freely both indoor and outdoor. The Montessori materials play a very big part in the environment but most importantly the Montessori ethos of care and respect for young children is maintained throughout the day. The ethos of the school also believes in introducing the children to many different experiences that they may not come across in their daily home life such as yoga, massage and meditation. Montessori Education is not just about what happens in the classroom it is about teaching the children to carry their new found skills into their daily life, to be respectful and caring towards other people and the environment they live in.
